2026 Stewardship Campaign

2026 Results

We gratefully acknowledge receiving 45 Estimate of Giving cards for 2026, pledging more than $293,500. These commitments reflect the faithfulness and generosity of our congregation and will help sustain worship, ministries, outreach, and the care of our church community in the year ahead. Thank you to everyone who has submitted a giving estimate — your support makes a meaningful difference.

Follow Jesus. Thrive in Community. Heal the World.

We are created in God’s image and God invites us to live generous lives. We recognize that all that we are and all that we have comes from God. In practicing generosity, we grow more into the likeness of Christ who embodied God’s generosity in his sacrificial life, death, and resurrection.

We give as a tangible expression of thanksgiving to God, as an act of worship, and as an act of faith and trust in God. We also give to invest in and make possible the ministries of our church. Nothing happens without the generosity of our members giving of their time and resources.

As part of our stewardship series, we also ask that you prayerfully consider how God is asking you to live a generous life. Commitment cards were mailed out to our congregants in early October, we ask that you please return these cards by Sunday, October 26th, which is our Commitment Sunday.

Below you will find both “The Giving Pathway” and all it’s steps, as well as a suggested process for how to discern your giving in 2026.

Making an Annual Financial Commitment

We give as a tangible expression of thanksgiving to God, as an act of worship, and as an act of faith and trust in God. We give because we recognize that all of life is a gift from God. We also give to invest in and make possible the ministries of our church. Nothing happens without the generosity of our members giving of their time and resources.

Begin with prayer – Thank God for the blessings you and your family have received and ask for guidance and discernment. Recognize that your offerings express both your desire to serve God and your investment in God’s work.

Assess your finances – Take a look at your annual income and your budget. How is your faith reflected in your spending? If you’d like more information about biblically based financial management, talk to Treasurer Michael Bland.

Step up and make a commitment – Determine the percentage of your income you will give in 2026, striving to increase by 1% to 3% over 2025. Your giving is an investment in the work of the church both within and outside the walls of St. Paul’s.

Consider how you give – There are many ways to give: through our website, through your bank, through the offering plate on Sunday morning. In addition, if you are at an age where you are taking distributions from your IRA, you can give directly from the IRA to the church, with tax advantages for you.

Worship with gratitude – On Commitment Sunday, October 26th, we invite you to present your commitment to God during worship. We will have a special time to do this in the service. Bring your 2026 Financial Commitment Card. If you forget, there will be blank ones available.
