United Methodist Women

United Methodist Women shall be a community of women whose purpose is to know God, and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church. With continuing awareness of the concerns and responsibilities of the church in today's world, they shall be an advocate for the oppressed and dispossessed, with special attention to the need of women and children; shall work to build a supportive community among women; and shall engage in the activities which foster growth in the Christian Faith, Mission Education, and Christian Social involvement throughout the organization. 

Our Nearly New shop located downtown at 604 E. Yosemite Ave, is a major source of funds for bringing the Kingdom of God to earth.

This Holiday Season join the United Methodist Women

The Executive Board will meet Tuesday, January 2nd, at 1:30pm in the Fireside Room.  They will also meet at the end of the month on Monday, January 29th, at 10:30am in the Fireside Room.

The General Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 4th, at 10am with a program and a soup luncheon to follow.  UMW Executive Board is the hostess.

Harmony Circle will meet Thursday, January 11th, at 10am in the Fireside Room. 

Hope Circle is scheduled to meet Wednesday, January 24th, at 1pm in the Fireside Room. 

Serenity Circle will meet Tuesday, January 30th, at 6pm in the Youth Room.  This is a craft group open to all women. 

 

United Methodist Men

A community of men whose purpose is to know GOD, and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through service to the church.

The Men's Club meets once a month on the last Tuesday of the month. Meetings (includes dinner) start at 6:30 P.M. and consist of a devotion and program.

Wranglers

Adult social group meets third Saturday of month at 5:30 P.M. for a potluck dinner, devotions and program. Mostly seniors, all are welcome.

Doorkeepers

Meet Friday at 8:30 A.M. to work on the church grounds and buildings.

Epistle Movers

A gathering of volunteers who meet the last Wednesday of the month to spread the good news of church happenings by preparing the church newsletter for mailing.
